This is something I have done before and personally I think a good quote can make a difference as it can remind us that we are not alone. I do this a lot when I wake up in the morning with my morning cuppa. So instead of seeing how ‘perfect’ others lives are I have some me time and remind myself it is not just me that feels this way.
Being a friend to ourselves can be difficult when suffering with mental health as we are always the last person on the list. Mental health plays a lot on our self-esteem and the first thing we do is forget about number one.
When suffering with a mental health, people alway wonder what they can do to help themselves and one thing which I learnt from my time in hospital was setting goals can really make a difference. Why should I set goals? Setting goals can give you something to work towards it doesn’t have to be anything […]
If you suffer with mental health I am sure you are already aware of the darkness that comes with it. This is something I am all too familiar with… this can happen a lot and at the moment this is something I am struggling to get out of. So thought what a better way to try than to explain this to those who don’t understand or maybe just write down how it feels.
